Once you have decided to take up Nordic Walking we can help you learn how to do it correctly, for maximum benefit and least injury risk. Most people realise initially that it is not as easy as we make it look, but with lessons and practice you will improve quickly. On average we find five or six lessons, spaced two to three weeks apart (allowing time to practice) is necessary for novices to 'graduate' from our training. Each lesson we will build your technique by adding new elements to challenge you, and give you drills to practice at home. We use an iPad to video your Nordic Walking and give you immediate feedback so you can see what you are doing well and what needs improvement.
Lessons can be done one-on-one for 30 minutes or with two to four participants for 60 minutes if you are a family or friends group.
